Free bird is the second guitar built specially for our friend and loyal customer G. Hristev. The guitar design is based on the classic Jazzmaster/Jaguar original design with some changes/improvements.
Definitely this is a complete new retro guitar design on which I will continue working on in the future.
Technical specifications:
Body: Bulgarian Alder plus the burl Maple Drop Top.
Neck: Three pieces 13 years seasoned Balkan (Bulgarian) Maple. Angled headstock. CONE Core construction:
- 12” fingerboard radius
- 25,5” (647,7mm) scale
- 20mm (0.787″) thickness at the 1-st fret
- 22mm (0.866″) thickness at the 12-th fret
- 43mm (1.692″) width at the nut
- 2mm white plastic side marks
- “Hanging pearl” Inlays

- 22 Medium jumbo Stainless Steel frets
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Construction: Bolt-on, 4 strews plus bushings
Tuners: GOTOH locking.

Finish: Whisky burst custom color. Backside of the neck and the fingerboard are treated with Oil.

Copper shielding protects the entire electronic box and pickups.
