Building this custom 6-string piezo electric guitar “Phenboy” was such a pleasure for me. Here is how the owner of the guitar describes the idea for its creation:
“The search for the perfect guitar is ongoing and in the last two years I have been on a mission for a new instrument. Knowing that KD Guitars & Basses offers near limitless options and high-end quality guitars, I decided to contact Mr. Dimitrov to discuss the possibility of a new project. I have a few guitars, including a USA Custom Shop, and I knew exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t. I’m really not attracted to classical guitar models so I wanted something different and unique. I chose Phentom as a base model and we made several modifications to better suit my needs: different wood combinations, construction, pickups and of course – piezo. The result is simply stunning, both visually and most importantly – how it sounds.”
