“Silvia” Pepecaster

I met Peter Glavanov during 2014, I think it was. He was in the studio recording guitars for his album. I immediately noticed the finesse of his playing, and the elegance of his compositions grabbed me in an instant. Our communication became more and more frequent and one day Peter told me that he wanted an authentic, handcrafted guitar made according to his specifications. He also shared that he wanted me to create it. This is how Peter tells the story of how the Pepecaster was brought to life and the reasons behind it:

I have always dreamed of an instrument that would feature various qualities that I, it turned out, wasn’t capable of finding anywhere on one guitar alone. Thanks to the creativity and talent of KD and some of my own ideas, we succeeded in accomplishing just that. Our creation encompassed the angled headstock, drop top, neck reinforcement, walnut body, quilted maple top, custom 12-fret inlay, push-pull for the built-in tuner, unique colour, finish and absolutely every other detail of my choice with no compromise at all. The sound, comfort and beauty are a combination of many of my favourite guitars, PLUS a significant number of extras, which are exactly what I imagined my dream guitar to be! This is how the Silvia Pepecaster came into existence.
