Dymana (Димана) is definitely one of the most challenging guitar projects I have ever taken on. I wouldn’t exactly define it as a semiacoustic guitar, but rather as a Hollow body because I followed a more archtop guitar construction when I was making it. There is no center wood block in it and for the first time ever, I used a resonator center arm, which I developed. The idea behind this new construction was to build a guitar with the ability to reach the strongest acoustic sound. The instrument is made almost entirely of rare and local Bulgarian tone wood, known for its superb sound. Turquoise-blue Stabilized Heavy figured flamed Maple wood is used on the fingerboard.
Crafting this guitar took me nine months – from drawing table to final studio photos.

Body: Bulgarian Walnut core/center seasoned 15 years. Balkan (Bulgarian) flamed Maple (the ultimate tonewood) top and back seasoned over 20 years.
Neck: 3 pieces Balkan (Bulgarian) flamed Maple seasoned 10 years, two stripes Ebony reinforcement lamination.

Pickups: Custom made set Bridge and Neck specially made by Kolev custom pickups. AlNiCo3 magnets, Chrome covers. Stainless steel custom made pickup rings.
